Inshore fishing is a great way to catch fish and, as the name suggests, involves fishing close to the shore. The coastline of Cape Town is a hotbed for marine life, and is littered with highly productive fishing spots, either off the reefs, rocks or the shorelines.

The waters are abundant in fish, so fishermen are really spoilt for choice during their fishing trip in Cape Town.

All equipment and tackle is provided for and guests are accompanied by experienced guides who will offer you some tricks of the trade. Using light tackle, you target fish including Snoek and yellowtail, both of which frequent these waters. Salmon and reef fish are also regularly caught.

The Cape Snoek are great fish to catch so prepare for a challenging battle with this powerful and aggressive creature. If you are lucky enough, you may even be able to catch Longfin and Yellowfin Tuna if the conditions are right.
