Crayfishing is a novel way to explore the ocean with your friends and family. The coastline of Cape Town is exceptionally rich in crayfish and shellfish. Cape Sea Safaris offers the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day setting crayfish nets and catching these sumptuous delicacies against the magnificence of Hout Bay in Cape Town.

Crayfishing is not as tricky as you might think, and the crew at Cape Sea Safaris will be happy to impart some of their expert advice on novice fishermen, or enjoy the skills of the experienced.

Your fishing package with Cape Sea Safaris includes a hotel pickup, followed by three hours of crayfishing with experienced, registered and enthusiastic fishermen. All fishing equipment (including nets, crayfish bait etc) will be provided and a local skipper will accompany you on your fishing trip.

You enjoy a light lunch and all local beverages before you prepare to depart back to your hotel. You will receive a souvenir cap and t-shirt compliments of Cape Sea Safaris before your return transfer to your hotel. You are welcome to take the legal quota of four crayfish per person back to the hotel with you.
